AP: Lee Terry and Tom White to debate in October

Omaha - GOP incumbent Rep. Lee Terry and his Democratic challenger, state Sen. Tom White, will debate in October before the November general election.

The candidates for Nebraska's 2nd District House seat each confirmed Friday that they had accepted the invitation of the League of Women Voters and Omaha Press Club.

The one-hour debate is scheduled for noon on Oct. 14 at the Omaha Press Club in downtown Omaha.

Former Omaha newscaster Gary Kerr will moderate the debate.
